All coming in at once.6x8 Oils on board

I did this one from a photo.But it isn`t anything

like the photo, because I wanted to go mad and

paint my impression of it.I usually take my shots

outside leaning on the Kitchen window,and there

was a bit of wind and being very light,it kept

blowing off the frame.Three times this happened

and I had`to take it back to my studio to get rid

of the smudges.Who was it said that painting

was very relaxing,it certainly wasn`t me.

Industrial Scene at Whitstable.9x12 Oils on board

I had already done 2.5 paintings at Whitstable

on this day,but I fancied this scene as well,so

I took a photo of it so that I could paint it at

Home.There is also another Industrial scene

that I shall be painting from a photo later.

Sunny Day at Whitstable.6x8 oils on board.

This is my second one of Whitstable,but this one

was painted Plein Air except that I added two

figures to it at Home.I felt it needed something

there.

Fishing Boat at Whitstable.9x12,Oils on Board.

I did a 6x8 plein Air at Whitstable on Sunday

last.then at Home I did this 9x12 oils from it.

I went with a few Artist friends to this place,

and we were spoilt for subjects.I did three

6x8 there and I will be doing one of the others

next.It was so Hot that my left Arm got

very red,more so than the Right Arm,my

Painting one.Peculier I thought.Brilliant

painting weather though.

This building is in Beckenham Place Park.

I don`t know what they use it for these

days,It could be they use it as a Tea rooms

and other things.Originally it was a private

dwelling.I went there with a few friends

and sketched it then painted it at home.

I almost did these Toms`from life,but had`to

check on a photograph that I had taken of

them because the lighting in my studio was

terrible,( I`ve only got a poor old Shed ).

I did this Drawing of myself from a Photo

with the intention of doing a Painting

from it.I wasn`t happy with the

painting but will try again later.

I did this one this afternoon sitting in the Garden.

I couln`t go out,and I desperately wanted to do

a Painting.I had already painted my Studio in

the Garden,so I decided to do the garage.

My Wife Rosemary was doing a bit of Gardening

and kept getting in my way.I couldn`t complain

incase she clobbered me one.

sitting on a Bench in the Country somewhere.

So I depicted them having a break.
