Sunny Tree. 9x12, Oils on Board.

Air,

this Painting was done with another mostly Plein Air, but completed at Home. The Sun caught the Tree beautifully.

  6. Hi Linda.
Thank you for your lovely comment. I agree with you that there is a nice contrast as we know, created by what's stuck in
    our minds--Light against Dark eh?

  12. Hi Victor. Wow, you have some really lovely work here: your oil and watercolour landscapes and your sketches of people too. I'd love to comment on so many of them but I'll just say for now that this one is a stunner. The colours and values are gorgeous and it just absolutely sings to me. Very nice indeed :)

  13. Hi Joan.
I`m the same as you my friend, Late in answering your lovely comment. What do they say? Better late than never eh? This was painted at a place called Keston Lakes. Started there and completed at Home. I did another sketch there and have also completed at Home. At the moment Joan, Im looking at that DVD of Miles Fairhurst painting as Seago painted. It`s great at the moment but I will give you my opinion of it later. All the best Joan.
