Meet Tinker bell. She is our Daughters Dog, and we look after her occasionally. She is gorgeous. She was originally ill treated, and our Daughter rescued her. She is a Toy Yorkshire Terrier. Needless to say, she is spoilt
And Tinker looks like she deserves to be. Your daughter will love this painting when she picks up her pooch. Most of the "commissioned" dog paintings I've seen are stiff--like a photographic projector was used. This little guy looks relaxed and natural. He was in good hands.
Hi Linda. Thank you very much for your lovely comment. I couldn`t wait to paint her, I have got to do another one of her in a different pose because there is a fight going on between my Wife and Daughter on who should have it. Thanks again Linda. All the best. Vic.
Hi John. Thank you for your nice comment. I really enjoyed painting Tinker. We had her for the weekend and she thinks that she is a guard Dog. Every little noise ans she is off. I`m going to do another of her but profile this time. It might help me get her character more. All the best John Vic.
Oh Vic, she is adorable and your daughter must be so delighted with your painting of her. I miss not having a small dog they are so loving and are meant to be spoiled.
Hi Joan. She is lovely isn`t she? Thanks for your comment my friend. I`m about to start another of her. Then I have got a seascape to do. Can`t wait. Joan, will you send me an email telling me what you think of Brian Ryders new DVD? I`ve got one more demo` to watch, then I will let you know what I think. All the best Joan. Vic.
Yorkies are such nice dogs. My first dog was a Yorkshire terrier. I can imagine that your daughter and your wife both want it, because it's a beautiful painting. You should really half painting. ;-)
She's beautiful, Vic!!! and you did an wonderful job on her.!Please tell me how anyone can mistreat an animal!? So glad your daughter spoils her ..she deserves it.
Hi Hilda. I`m glad you like it, and thank you for your nice comment. We are all in love with Tinker Bell. She comes to our House for weekends and Holidays. All the best Hilda. Vic.
Hi Pat. Thank you for your lovely comment. She originally came from a Gypsy site. She has a prmanent limp, obviously where someone threw her down. All the best Pat. Vic.
