This painting was done from a Photograph that my Blogger friend Ralph Parker gave me prmission to use. The light and shade with the dappled light showing through really got me excited, and when I saw it on his posting, I had`to paint it, and he kindly gave me permission to use his Photograph, It`s obviously different to the photo, I`m no detailed painter, but prefer to paint it this way.

Good morning my friend. Oh Vic, this is beautiful. Love the way you captured the dappled light and your various shades of green wonderful. Ralph Parker is such a nice person, he is always willing to help and share. He has helped me so much with my gouache painting. Michael Bailey told me about him. I can't stop looking at this painting. It has been a while since I travelled the blogs...when I saw this painting I was drawn to it immediately. It is composed beautifully. You have captured the majesty of the light filled trees offset by the beautiful pink sky. There is always a real sense of serenity in your paintings. So well done!
