Another Thames Barge. It`s called "the Tollesbury". I want to explaine to all Boat experts that I hardly know anything about Barges or any boats come to that. And I paint these lovely Barges the way I want to paint them, and not with all the technical bits and pieces. I do apologize to those who get upset because I haven`t put this and that what should be there.

  1. The beauty this artist sees in these boats is the movement of the sails, like a ballet step in slow motion--the wind on the sea. Detailed boat drawings are for shipwrites.

  2. Another wonderful painting Vic. I know nothing about boats either, well, I know there's a pointy end and a blunt end, that's about it!

  8. Good morning to you my friend. 09.30 here.
Thank you Joan for your lovely comment. Only a mini masterpiece? (just Joking) Yes Joan, I can`t leave the Barges alone. Just one more to go, then probably a snow scene. It really is cold here Joan, poor arthritic sufferers eh? I love seeing you at your easel. Please keep showing them along with your lovely paintings. Do you know what Joan, I can spot a painting of yours straight away among all the others, your brilliant style shows out. All the best Joan.
