Ightham Mote

This is an Oast House that farmers dry their hops in. I, as a lad of 4, went every year with my parents to pick hops, then the farmers collected each individual`s baskets full of hops, and we got paid for it. Also we had a lovely holiday into the bargain.

  4. Hi Hilda.
I am glad that you like it my friend. There is an English Artist who always seem to paint these Oast`s houses, I can`t remember his surname but his first name I think is Ray. All the best Hilda.

  6. Dear Vic,

Another wonderful painting. I too enjoy seeing your process of the under painting, sketch and then the finished painting. Vic, does it take very long to complete. I also enjoy the story of you as a young lad with your parents. Thank you for sharing, keep these painting coming my friend.
