I'm not a fan of cows even when well done, but an English garden gets me every time. Is the weather really as nice as this painting looks? Snow bound, I'd love to be the woman sitting in that chair in that garden. Lovely painting Victor.
Hello Linda. Thank you very much for your nice comment. It is from an old photo that i found. I think it is around 1930. Notice the sort of seat she is sitting on? it`s very old, about my age, there i have given my age away. All the best Linda. Vic.
I'm looking out my window right now and I see snow coming down. Even though it's beautiful I would love to be sitting in this garden with a cup of tea! I love the shadows on the roof of the house...Beautifully done, Vic!!!
Vic I have been trying to leave a comment, had a difficult time. I think this one will go through. Love this painting and I agree with Hilda, the garden, a cup of tea sound charming, just like your painting my friend. All the best, Joan
Hi Hilda my friend. I`m glad you like it, i wasn`t too sure about that big wiindow, i think it is too white. Thank you for your comment Linda. All the best. Vic.
Hi my friend. Yes your first one got through as well. Thank you for your nice comment. Glad it has cheered you up. I forgot to put the cups in, never mind eh? All the best Joan. Vic.
Hi Joan, this is in answer to your first comment. We had a bit of snow as well. It settled, and covered the ground, but it was gone by the next day. All the best my friend. Vic.
I really like the way you've captured this peaceful summery scene Vic. For sure it warms the heart on a cold wintry day. Something to look forward to. ;-)
I have a Scottish friend who now lives in England and this could be her in her lovely English garden! It is so serene and makes me itch to get back to some warm weather gardening myself!
