- I started painting around 1990 and loved it straight away. I started with watercolour,and then after about 15 years I moved to Oils and acrylics. I still paint the odd watercolour to keep my hand in so to speak. I love impressionism. The only time I use detail is when I paint portraits. Otherwise it is my interpretation of the subject. I am retired but still find it hard to find time to paint. I reckon I can manage to do a painting about three times a week. Originally I was a Motor Mechanic. Then, for the eighteen years leading up to my retirement, I worked for Barclays bank.
Your doing such good work in your life classes Vic..and your previous snow painting is wonderful!!

Vic my friend, you are doing really nice work in you life drawing class. I tip my hat to you, your dedication is once again an inspiration to me. Can't wait to do life drawing workshops when I return home. Love you snow scene as well. All the best to you, Joan

ReplyDeletethank you for your comment. I`m really enjoying my Life classes Joan. There is usually 20 to 25 students there, all doing nice work. but there is always 2 or 3 that are brilliant. If i have the time left i hope to be as good as them, please God. All the best Joan.
