Harry and I went over to Kelsey Park again on Monday. We both did the same subject, Harry in Acrylic, and me in oils. Iv`e shown my plein air sketch, also in my Pochade. Normaly I don`t show my sketches, but this time I think it is better to show both the sketch and the painting from the sketch for which I haven`t done yet. Also i have shown the cafe that is in the park. You can get a decent meal in there. Although the Park is a fantastic well looked after park, the Toilets are not.

Harry and I at Kelsey Park. At last a lovely day. We spent a couple of hours in this park and it was a fantastic. couple of hours. Ducks, Swans and Canada Geese. and people coming up to us asking this and that. One lady with a little girl asked me if she could show the little girl the painting. I said sure but it isn`t completed yet, but she was pointing out things on the painting and explaining what it was. I said she`s probably not interested in the painting, but the lady said she is, and she will explain everything to her mum when she gets home.

Cottages at Otford. The club and I went over to a Village called Otford. A Beautiful place. We all started to paint almost the same subject, these Cottages. After about an hour it was getting a bit cold so we all went to have a nice cup of tea or coffee. After that we all went to different subjects. I did a bit of sketching, others did some more painting. After Lunch in the same place, we all parted company. When I say our club, I mean six of us. After about three Hours and some great discussion in the coffee shop, we all parted company. I as usual completed this subject at Home.

Harry and I spent a couple of very windy hours at Norman park last Thursday. We did a sketch of this subject and completed it at Home. Boy, was it windy.

Harry and I braved the Cold and the wind and went plein air Thursday morning. I did an Oil sketch and Harry did a Pencil sketch. Isn`t that a lovely pencil Sketch of Harry`s? I do love the way he sketches. Mind you, he was a bit more sensible than me, he virtually had a tree shielding him from the wind, I didn`t.

London buses outside The Houses of Parliament. I have several photos that I have taken of scenes of london, but this painting was done from a photo I got from free photos on the web for artist`s, and other sites. I would have loved to have painted it on site, but i`m not brave enough to do that, especially at night.

This is a blogger friend`s back garden. He posted some photos of his garden showing a lovely robin watching him trim his trees. The garden was crying out to be painted. So I asked him if I could post in on my Blog, and he agreed. To tell you the truth, he loved the painting, honest. it pleased me no end.

Barges India. I painted these Barges from a loose Leaf in a Book that I have all about Thames Barges ect`. There is no write up of them, no info` at all. It looks as if they are in India, I`m just guessing, sorry. I have had permission to paint from this book in writing, so I am okay on that point.
