Harry and I braved the Cold and the wind and went plein air Thursday morning. I did an Oil sketch and Harry did a Pencil sketch. Isn`t that a lovely pencil Sketch of Harry`s? I do love the way he sketches. Mind you, he was a bit more sensible than me, he virtually had a tree shielding him from the wind, I didn`t.

Vic, I am so happy for you and Harry to be out and about doing what you love. Harry's sketch is lovely and your painting is wonderful. You haven't lost your touch at plein air. I went out with my friends on Monday, still have to post.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you my friend,
Joan
Vic,
ReplyDeleteI give you and Harry alot of credit for braving the elements. Your painting and Harry's sketch well done, good composition and it is lovely setting.
Best to you, Sue
Hi Joan.
ReplyDeleteAthough it was very Windy, it was great to be out with the elements as you were with your latest plein air. Thank you my friend and all the best.

Hi Sue.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your nice comment my friend. It was well worth it sitting there in the open air with horses galloping away across the fields, that alone is a lovely sight Hilda. All the best.

Well done for getting out into the open air Vic ... I'm quite envious. Your painting is great but my love for graphite work draws me (excuse the pun) to Harry's sketch which I like very much. Great work both of you.
ReplyDeleteHi John.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your nice comment. I agree with you John, I prefer looking at Harry`s Pencil Sketch. He is a very good sketcher all round. All the best John.
