Farm Tractor. 9x12, oils on board.

I painted this Tractor from a photograph that I took after completing the Windmill
at West Kingsdown. As we were on our way out of the field, the Farmer had just hitched
this contraption to the back of the Tractor and was doing something to the back of it, I couldn`t resist the opportunity to paint it.

Cows at West Kingsdown. 12x17, oils on board.

This was painted from a photo that I took at West Kingsdown after I painted the Windmill. I was more fascinated with the House. It looked gorgeous with the Sun on it, and the dark cloud approaching

Harry and I at Shoreham Bridge.

Harry and I at Shoreham Bridge. Hoping no Cars would turn up.

No Fish in there, Shoreham Bridge. 9x12, oils on Board.

No Fish in there was painted right at the foot of the bridge. We were standing ( Note the standing bit Michael) on a small area where four local residents pay £30 a year to park their cars there. We were praying that none of them wanted to park there. One of them came out and chatted to us for around 15min, I couldn`t get on with my painting.
I meant to post some photos with this, but I will upload them after.

I wonder if it`s going to Rain? 9x12, oils on board.

This painting was done from a photograph of mine. I have altered it drastically to what the photo shows to suit what I thought was a better composition. For instance, There isn`t a figure in the photo and the sky isn`t as stormy as I have depicted. Also, several other little changes.

Landscape at Keston Ponds. 9x12, oils on board.

This is a plein Air painting at Keston ponds. It`s amazing really what you can find for a subject if you walk a few more yards. We have painted around this area several times. When you have done a painting, you think of going somewhere else next time. But go back there and walk a few yards from the last place you painted, and bingo.

Harry and I at St` Johns

St` Johns Church. 9x12, oils on board.

I did this painting last wednesday morning. My friend and I went to a local subject near by. He did a painting looking the other way to me. I settled for this Church. I wasn`t too sure whether to post it or not. But a dear blogger friend of mine liked it, and convinced me to post it as it is. I usually complete my plein air paintings at home. Also a close friend called in to see us and she liked it also. So here it is.
