Some quick sketches for now.

I found this subject on the web. I really wanted to paint it because of the drawing practice. I`m not too happy with the drawing but reasonably happy with the colours. HARVESTING. My own title for the want of a better one.

Cherry Tree farm. I went to this farm several times a few years ago with a friend of mine who worked for Fords as a commercial artist. What a brilliant painter he was, I say was, because he isn`t with us any more.He was a lovely friend.

I have painted this Farm several times, and each time I enjoy painting it just as much as i painted it the first time. I`ll have a go at an Oast House next.

Another Scene at Yalding. As i said in my last post, after we completed our paintings, We had a walk around the area to see if there were any other subjects that would make a decent painting, this is the second one that was of interest.

Cowl`s at yalding are at the top of this building. They let the heat from the drying of Hops out through them. We went over to a place called Yalding some weeks ago to do some plein air painting. After doing our paintings we had a walk round to see if their were any other subjects of interest. We saw this House which at one time was a Kiln. It dryed hops, and the heat of the drying escaped through the Cowl`s at the top of the building.

Farm at Green st Green. I spotted this subject when I was searching for some nice cottages to paint. No cottages, but I thought this would make a painting.

This is another scene looking the other way to the last Shoreham painting. I went there with our club a couple of weeks ago. It is great to see at least eight of our members spread out all over the place painting or sketching.
