Grazing. 6x8, oils on board.

Just fancied painting these Sheep, no other reason except the subject is slightly different to being just an Animal.

  3. Hi Jill.
Thank you for your comment. I`m glad you specifically like the sheep. Sometimes I find them difficult to draw, but am reasonably happy with these two. All the best Jill.

  5. Hi Joan.
Glad your back my friend. Thank you for your nice comment. I must admit that not everybody thinks the same about it. I do have some emails from other Artist`s giving me advise for which I gratefully receive. I`m also glad that the advise isn`t on the blog but private. That is very thoughtful of them. I will tell you more via email, okay Joan? All the best my friend.

  6. Hi Victor!
Thank you for your visit. I saw your beautiful painting. You live in a beautiful Country, I love English watercolorists of ninteenth century very much, like Turner, Constable, Cox, Ruskin, Cotman ....They inspire me continously! I'd like to visit UK and especially Lake District

  7. Although the sheep are prominent here, I really like the distance you've got going here, and how the bend of the second sheep leads my eye back there.

  8. Hi Mario.
Thank you for your lovely comment. You are not alone in liking Turner and Constable. They are my favourites as well. I especially like Constable because he painted in an area that I love, Flatford Mill etc`. At one time I was a Mechanic and I often went to breakdowns in and around that area. And when I got the chance, I did some sketching. Thank you again Mario. I`m so glad I found your Blog. All the best to you.

Thank you for your comment. Yes the two Sheep were my centre of attraction and I specially wanted the further Sheep pointing back to the other one. Thanks for mentioning that point. All the best Karen.
