Fluffy. 6x8, oils on board.

Fluffy is my sons Cat, and he is gorgeous. He has a problem with his hind leg, so he has a splint to support it. After paying out £400 to the Vet, they still don`t know what the problem is. The vet is happy anyway!

  1. Poor Fluffy, and what a beautiful painting. I love the way you painted the texture of his fur. Vic my friend you are amazing, even the anatomy of his stance looks accurate. Brilliant.

As for Fluffy, sorry they can't figure out what is wrong. I agree about the Vets they know how to take money, too bad there isn't health insurance for pets. It can be so costly and we love them like a family member so we pay. I hope Fluffy feels better soon.

  3. Oh yes, sorry for Fluffy. But she is a beautiful cat and you painted her so well. She is the exact image on my Lily down to the pink nose.

  6. Hi Trevor.
I`m so glad that you are on the mend, and that you are able to blog again. Your latest paintings are wonderful. When I painted in Watercolours, ( Ages ago now )compaired with Oils, I found them much harder to achieve what I wanted. That is why I changed over to Oils. I keep promising muself that I will start painting in watercolour again, and I will. Get better soon Trevor and all the best.
    Vic.
