Cottage at Westerham. 9x12 Acrylic on board

This painting was mainly painted on site, but completed at Home. Why is it that I always have`to do something to a painting when I get Home? There is the usual mugshots of Harry and I. It was a very hot day, Too Hot to stay too long I`m afraid.

Thank you my friend for your lovely comment. Harry was painting with Acrylics, and he was mixing his colours in his Acrylic Palette. It does look as if he is sketching eh? Thanks again Michael. I have just noticed an email come through from you. a painting yippee. All the best.

  9. I love the range of colors you have in the sky Vic. The whole painting has a nice glow to it--as warm and inviting as the cottage. Lovely. I give you credit for being able to handle that easel too. I've got one, and every time I try to set it up I feel like one of the three Stooges. I only use it for watercolor now--and in the studio.

  11. Hi Linda.
Thank you for your great comment. I`m glad you see a glow to my painting because I do like bright and colourful paintings. As for my easel, I wish I could get it a bit taller. It just doesn`t go any higher I`m afraid. It is so light, Ideal for plein air. Thank you Linda and all the best.
