This is really good Vic. I like the contrast in colours between the house and the church and your trees are superb. It's a beautifully balanced composition and the road leads the eye into the scene perfectly. Great job. ;-)
Magnificent!!. Dear friend this is absolutely lovely, it has everything. Excellent composition, structure, perfect contrast, wonderful variation of the color green. The cottage really pops with the green foliage.
Hi Vic, I posted a comment on your blog yesterday. I guess it didn't go through. I think this painting is lovely. Love the greens against the cottage. You are a master of greens and tonal values. Great work my friend.
Hi Joan. Thank you for your nice comment, as usual. We went out with the club yesterday over to a place called Knowl House, it looks like a castle to me, but it is a brilliant place to paint Trees alone, without painting the House. It was once an estate probably owned by a Lord or somebody like that. Now it belongs to the National Trust. It was a great day all in all. i did a couple of watercolour sketches, so I will probably do an Acrylic out of them. All the best my friend. Vic.
Lovely painting Vic. Everything about it, the road leading the viewer in, the cottage, the church tucked away, and of course the greens which you do so well.
Hi Sue. Thank you for your lovely comment. I have been to this place several times. I will give it a break for a while now. I`m a bit behind in visiting my favourite blogs at the moment, so I must get back to it soon. All the best Sue. Vic.
