Farm at Green st Green. I spotted this subject when I was searching for some nice cottages to paint. No cottages, but I thought this would make a painting.
Hi Hilda my friend. thank you very much for your nice comment. The building on the left Hilda is a Farm Shed. so you can be right in saying it looks like a log cabin. all the best hilda. Vic.
You thought right Vic, this is a really nice composition, it's a little different and, therefore, interesting because of that. I like the way you have rendered the timber on the shed, so often things like this can look over-worked but not here. Gorgeous colours too!!
Vic my friend, you are a master at capturing various shades of green, it is such a difficult color and you do it so well. This is a lovely painting Vic.
Hi Joan. Thank you also for your lovely comment my friend. i really enjoyed painting this subject. A Dog came up to me and started to drink my water for my Watercolur sketch of this subject. I let him have a couple of licks before his owner came up and stopped him. All the best Joan. Vic.
Hi Victor Like Joan Sicignano say, you are a "green color's master" :). The green color is a very difficult color however you circumvents this difficulty very well. Landscapes are wonderful. A hug from Portugal :)
