Farm at Green st Green. I spotted this subject when I was searching for some nice cottages to paint. No cottages, but I thought this would make a painting.

This is another scene looking the other way to the last Shoreham painting. I went there with our club a couple of weeks ago. It is great to see at least eight of our members spread out all over the place painting or sketching.

I see no ships. This painting is largely made up. The title is an old saying, It`s to do with some one looking for something, usually using their hand just above their eye`s, looking out to sea may be?

>br< This painting is a second go of the one that I painted Plein air at Eynsford. I must admit that when I saw my friends painting, not so much the painting but his composition, That made me want to paint it again roughly in his composition. I`m glad that I did because it has taught me that you don`t have`to copy the subject the way you see it. you can move that tree to there, and that shed to there, and so on. Although I have always known this, I still painted what and how I have seen the subject, but no more.
