Lovely sketches Vic. Have you got your mechanical pencil yet and if so, have you used it here? I'm still enjoying mine...had to remember not to press too hard, it showed me that I have obviously been heavy handed with my conventional pencils as the lead on the mechanical one broke to start with. As soon as I eased off the pressure it worked wonderfully and I am so pleased I got it.
Hi Ann. I`m glad that you like the sketches. Yes, I have received my Mechanical Pencil. I didn`t know how to use it to start with. I accidentally let about Two inches of lead out. Then I realised how to use it. I haven`t used it as such yet. But I usually do my sketches in Ink. But will try the M` pencil out soon. Thanks for telling me about it Ann. All the best. Vic.
Had a great time looking through your blog, Vic - and was treated to some wonderful stuff. Love your recent paintings and your sketches have a lot of life and movement!
Hi Hilda. Thank you very much for your nice comment, as usual I might add. Some of these sketches were done at Rottingdean, where we went with the club on Sunday last. Others were at the club. I do have more to post later. All the best my friend. Vic.
Hi Susan. It`s lovely to hear from you. I`m so sorry that I haven`t visited you for some time now, but will do shortly. I`m glad that you browsed my blog and liked some of my efforts. I will visit you shortly. I do know that you have been doing some lovely portraits. All the best Susan. Vic.
Hi Sue. I`m glad that you like my sketches. They are a good exercise for the real thing. Sue, I am so sorry that I haven`t visited your blog lately, There are so many Artist`s to visit that hardly any visiting gets done. Thank you Sue for your nice comment. All the best. Vic.
