Heavy Clouds.

This painting took me one hour to do and it was from a photo that Jill Berry gave me permission to use. As usual it is my interpritation of the subject and not a true likeness of the subject. Thank you jill.

  1. Thank you very much Laura. As I said it is done from a photo. I wanted to do this very quickly to get it like Impressionistic as I could. I have just visited your blog and found your latest posting, It`s brilliant. I have left a comment for you. All the best Laura.

  2. Hi Vic,
I love it, especially the cloud formation and tones. I also like the softness of the colors. Jill Berry had some great photos and you certainly did the photo justice. Using your own interpretation, well done my friend.

  3. thank you my friend. It was taken from two of Jills photos. I used the clouds from one and the rest from another. I think it`s great that she shows us her way of working Plein Air eh? I wish I could do that but I`m too busy painting. I liked your wonderful Watercolours that you posted. Especially the big Tree one, top right. Thanks again Joan, and all the best.

  4. Excellent work, Vic!
They certainly do have dimension to them!
    Also...an energetic sense of movement.
Have you been wielding that knife again?

    Thanks for the mention.
