Shoreham Plein Air. 9x12 Oils on board.

A friend and I went over to a place called Shoreham in Kent. I have been there several times, and it is where as a child from the age of 4yrs went to pick Hops. They were brilliant times. Now as I have said I go there to paint Plein Air, and it is a fantastic place to go not only to paint but for a lovely meal in the local pubs. Our favourite is the Crown public House. My Wife Rosemary and I went there when we were courting. We seemed to prefer Sausages and chips in a basket. We sat by a roaring fire in the Winter Months.

  3. Hi Joan.
Thanks for your nice comment. Again, I wasn`t too sure whether to post this one. It turned out to be a lovely day. The usual people visited us to comment also. A load of lady hikers passed and said that we were very lucky to be able to paint. And we said that they were very lucky to be able to do these walks that they do, I can`t. Talk later my friend and all the best.
    Vic.
