A Yorkshire Farm. 9x12, Oils on board.

This painting is from a photograph that I have had for some time. I liked the darkness of the Tree that seems to lighten the building.

  2. Hi Vic,

I really love this painting. It has all of the wonderful elements that make a painting. First of course your wonderful drafting skills in rendering the buildings. The composition is excellent and your colors the greens are wonderful. In short, everything I aspire to achieve in my paintings. Well done my friend. Keep this wonderful works coming.

    All the best to you.

  5. Your paintings just get better and better...I am sorry that I missed the last few because they are real gems. Your trees have such majesty and great color. The little building tucked in among the greenery draws my eye. These paintings are so well done...the drawing...the color...the well planned and executed compositon...and your wonderful TREES. So nice!!

  6. Hi Linda.
Thank you very much for your great comment. As with Joan and Mariano they give me confidence to carry on painting on the poor days that we Artist`s go through. All the best Linda.

  9. I love the colours and tones. In fact the painting looks more colourful than it actually is and it just glows.

  10. Hi Keith.
Thank you for your comment. You say that the painting seems to glow, well, I`m glad you said that because I put a coat of red Acrylic on before I started in the hope that it did just that. Thanks Keith and all the best.

  16. Hi Frank.
Thanks for your nice comment. yes, sometimes one can overdo the brick work eh? I`ve changed my undercoat from red to pink now, I don`t really know why though except seeing one of my favourite Artist`s do it. All the best Frank.
