Yorkshire Landscape. 12x17, oils on board.

I managed to brave my cold studio today to paint this landscape. Can`t say whether I`m happy with it or not.

  1. Hi Vic,

Your bravery paid off my friend. It's beautiful. Love the composition and the path leading to the house. I also like your treatment of the sky and your brush work is excellent. You recommended a landscape artist to me before Christmas. If you remember his name I would like to purchase a dvd from him.

    All the best to you

    To quote Kevin Macpherson
"All paintings are lessons for the next. It's an ongoing learning process, increasing skills for future works."
I think this painting is wonderful!

  10. Hi Jani.
Thank you for your nice comment. I agree with you and Kevin that they are a lesson for the next painting. The only way to improve and to learn is to Draw, Draw, and Paint, Paint and paint again. Jani I absolutely love your Abstracts. I also like your Landscapes. All the best Jani.
