St` Johns Church. 9x12, oils on board.

I did this painting last wednesday morning. My friend and I went to a local subject near by. He did a painting looking the other way to me. I settled for this Church. I wasn`t too sure whether to post it or not. But a dear blogger friend of mine liked it, and convinced me to post it as it is. I usually complete my plein air paintings at home. Also a close friend called in to see us and she liked it also. So here it is.

  2. Hi Tony.
Thank you for visiting my Blog, and for your nice comment. I have just visited your Blog Tony, and you say that your aim is to paint realistically. Well Tony, you have arrived at your goal. I have never seen paintings so much like a photograph but with your lovely colour. It amazes me that you like my sort of painting. But it pleases me though. All the best Tony.
