Cherry Tree Farm 2. 9x12, Acrylics on board.

A Blogger friend of mine suggested that I paint an Oast House. Well I did this one from my photograph of my original painting that I largely did Plein air. I hope he likes it.

  2. Hi Michael.
glad you like it my friend. It`s strange really, although I have altered it slightly to the original painting, I think the original was a better job. Am I going backwards or what? I didn`t want to paint it exactly like the original because it wouldn`t be fair on the owner would it? All the best Michael.

  3. This is really nice Victor. You really did a great job on that reflection in the pond, a painting by itself. Thanks for your kind words on my blog. It's always a pleasure when you stop by.

  4. Looks like a place that would be great to visit...I imagine the "owner" would be honored to know that someone found interest enough to paint it! Great job!

  5. Hi Linda.
Thank you for your lovely comment. Especially the, It`s always a pleasure, that`s a great boost for me in itself, thank you. As I said to Michael above, I must be going backwards with my Art. The original I think was a better effort. Your four seasons are brilliant Linda. All the best to you. Vic.

  11. A lovely painting Vic. Especially like the coral colored strips showing along the edge of the road and pond. Brings the piece together by being in the same school of color with the barn roof.Well done!
