  2. Hi Joan.
2.06pm here my friend, good afternoon. Thank you Joan for your lovely comment ( Brilliant ). Please don`t worry about not visiting too often. I`m the same. I have the same problem as you Joan, not enough time in our live`s eh? Joan, I am reading an Autobiography of Ken Howard the Artist. It is called- Light and Dark. Get it, it is fantastic. What a life he has been living with his paintings.
( I hope that he will carry on painting for ever). Mind you it is very sad at the end. Amazon have got it. All the best Joan.

  3. Charming painting Vic. Very well done. I do like the ones where you include a figure. You've very good at that.

  5. Charming painting that has such an English countryside feel to it. I love it. The greens and shadows are particularly well done.

  8. Afternoon Michael.
great to hear from you mate. I`m glad you like this one, thank you. Michael, as I said to Joan, none of us have enough time to visit every posting that we all do. I find that if one comes up that really strikes you, ( not literary though ) Thats the one I like to comment on. All the paintings might be nice but one hasn`t got the time to visit all the time eh? mate. All the best Michael and glad to see you back.

  9. Vic, I really like this. I keep telling myself that I must make an effort to include figures in my work, but I never do. This painting has a lot of appeal and it raises questions ... where has Harry been?; where is he going? I like it very much. Nice work Vic .... and I totally agree about 'time'. ;-)

  10. Hi John.
I`m glad that you like it mate. As I have said before,
It is a lovely area to paint. Harry is on his way back to the car after completing his Sketch. I`m right behind him also on my way back to the car after I had almost completed my painting. There is two of these Footbridges, another to go. Regarding your wanting to put figures in your paintings, you don`t lack the skill, you are a very good draughtsman. All the best John.

  12. Hi Hilda.
Thank you very much for your lovely comment. Yes Harry`s Backpack, once when we were out, he had`to repair it. The strap got all tangled up because it was round the wrong way. Thanks again Hilda and all the best.
