I see no ships. This painting is largely made up. The title is an old saying, It`s to do with some one looking for something, usually using their hand just above their eye`s, looking out to sea may be?

    Thank you also for your lovely comment. It was the background foliage and the figure that I added. Mind you, I even altered the gate. Thanks for getting your Son to add a didget for you, that is when he can manage it. it is great for our Sons to fix things for us isn`t it Susan? All the best.
