Hi my friend. Thank you for your nice comment Hilda. I made a spelling mistake. It is Tinker Bell. I`m doing a lot of that lately. At the moment i don`t feel like painting Hilda. But i am going out Plein Air Tomorrow.Hopefully i will be able to get back to it. Thank you again Hilda. All the best. Vic.
Vic, this is precious, One of my favorites. Tinker Bell is so adorable. Just read your answer to our friend Hilda. Do hope you enjoy your Plein air painting , sometimes that's all we need to get our juices flowing. I've been wanting to email you. Take care my friend and yes happy painting you. Regards to Rosemary and Tinker Bell.
Hi my friend. Thank you for your nice comment. Yes i went out Wednesday and had a great time with good company. I painted a few chickens and it`s run. When i got home I found that i didn`t like it so i scraped most of it off and started again. When i showed it to one of mt friends, she said wow! what a lovely abstract Painting. I didn`t mean it to be an abstract, i don`t like Abstract pain tings. Oh well never mind. you can`t win them all can you? But i finnished it off at Home. All the best to the three of you. Vic.
Hi my friend. Thank you for your nice comment Susan. I did manage to go out last Wednesday to paint Plein Air. It did get me painting again, well just. It`s a terrible feeling when you can`t paint Susan, as you probably know. Thank you again Susan. All the best. Vic.
I started painting around 1990 and loved it straight away.
I started with watercolour, and then after about 15 years I moved to Oils and acrylics. I still paint the odd watercolour to keep my hand in so to speak. I love impressionism. The only time I use detail is when I paint portraits. Otherwise it is my interpretation of the subject.
I am retired but still find it hard to find time to paint. I reckon I can manage to do a painting about three times a week.
Originally I was a Motor Mechanic. Then, for the eighteen years leading up to my retirement, I worked
for Barclays bank.

Tinker Bell is so adorable! But I hope you will soon be back at the easel. Sometimes a little time off is a good thing.
