Snow scene at St` Johns. 10x12, oils on board.

St Johns refers to a lovely Church just along the Road to us. I have sketched a lot in that area, and this was from a photo that I took last January when we had a lot of snow. I painted this yesterday.

  3. Vic I love the atmospheric quality you have achieved. Once again it has that old master look.Did you use a limited palette of yellow ochre, white, black, maybe some green or blue. I am intrigued. Don't think you celebrate Thanksgiving, I believe, that is a Colony celebration. Have a great day.

I agree with the OLD, but I don`t know about the Master my friend, but please carry on saying
those great words, I love them. Glad you like it
Joan. I used my usual colours--- Ultramarine Blue, Yellow Ochre, a touch of cad` yellow for
highlightes and of course plenty of Titanium white. All the best my friend.
