Shoreham 3. 12x17, oils on board.


This is the third painting showing Shoreham. It`s only about two thirds like the actual scene because there were a couple of things I didn`t like, so I altered them, as we all do eh?

  5. Hi Vic, this is a very beautiful painting! The lush greens and vibrant transition of color is especially effective. The band of light yellow green is an added delight. I love the shapes of the trees and the brushwork. All in all a real gem!

    I agree with all of the above. It is truly Brilliant my friend. I love your manipulation of the greens. It is such a difficult color to master. And you have.

  8. You certainly didn't edit out anything needed to make a very nice statement. All those greens- warm, dull, dark; leading to the blue distance! And I especially like the horizontal dashes of the land.
    The previous painting is also superb- the open gate & warmth. Inviting!
