Arriving. 9x12, Oils on board.

I went to an exhibition at the Mall Galleries the other day. And As I was coming onto the platform at charing cross Station, The train was just about to come in, and I couldn`t resist taking a Photo of this person just starting to move towards the train.

  5. Hi Vic,

I like your transition from the dark of the tunnell to the light. Very realistic with the lighting. Your perspective and the movement of the figure is well done. I love city scenes!

  7. Hi Vic,

Wonderful rendering of light and dark tones. Very realistic. I also love the person waiting for the train. Excellent painting my friend. It tells a story and gives the viewer a sense of being there also. Well done.

  8. Hi Joan.
Thanks for your nice comment my friend. When I painted this scene, I wasn`t thinking of a story, but if it conveys a story then that is all the better. I think we must subconsciously be thinking of a story eh? All the best my friend.
    Vic.
