Stream running through. 9x12, oils on board.

This scene is in Southern France. What I liked about it was the stream and the light against the building compared with the darkness of the tree.

  2. Hi Vic,

Oh my goodness, missed your previous post. So just a quick comment on that one. GREAT!

As for Stream Running... it's GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! in other words I love it. Vic, my friend your work promotes a "feel good feeling", just like a good movie or song. I could go on and on but I must start my day.

    All the best to you

What a brilliant comment my friend. Nobody could better that one, thank you. I have bought two more of Brian Ryders DVD`s. Painting Atmospheric Oil Landscapes. And, Watercolour Sketchbook. By two DVD`s and you get almost £7 off. What`s that in Dollars $12? I shale be busy Saturday evening with these. Rosemary if off Line Dancing. All the best Joan.

Beautiful work! I also like the gentle, little stream, and your work on the tree is fantastic. I like this setting very much, what a lovely place.
