Scene at Chipstead. 9x12, oils on board.

This painting was done from a photo that I took whilst painting at Chipstead
last Wedneday. I painted a very old Footbridge plus another subject but I wasn`t happy with either of them, so I will get back to them later.

  3. Hi Vic. Beautiful painting! The lake, the yacht and its reflections and the birds make it look such a tranquil place. You're very lucky to have such fantastic scenery to paint on your doorstep! Best wishes, Michael.

  10. The leaves on the trees are showing their fall colours in Alberta, Canada. This painting has me dreaming of summer afternoons with a cool drink and a good book. Very lovely Vic.

I think this is my favorite, your work excels with each brushstroke. Love the colors and beautiful soft tonal changes. It is truly an outstanding painting my friend.

I also love the previous post, Vic, you are an inspiration to me. This morning didn't feel much like painting until I noticed your work.

Thank you for sharing your great talent.

  14. Hi Joan.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, it couldn`t be better, thank you. Did you manage to get all your chores done? It`s strange that you say that you didn`t feel like painting this morning but when you saw my painting, it made you want to paint, well, that happens to me lots of times, and I`m sure it happens to other Artist`s also. Thanks again my friend and all the best.
