At Keston Common. 6x8 Acrylic

Harry and I plein air at keston Common yesterday. It was cold but Sunny. A wonderful thing happened Whilst we were painting, a lady came over with a tray of Two large mugs of Tea, and a plate of biscuits. We took a photo of the tray on the leafy ground. Theres Harry packing up, me painting the subject, the tray and the painting. I normally complete a painting at home but although I`m not happy with it but thought I would show it in the raw. I shale paint a bigger one from this.

  1. Morning Vic. Your acrylic is a cracker! A pot of tea and biscuits ... in posh cups and on a tray as well - how wonderful! Lovely photos of your day out, Vic. Glad to see you posting again my friend. Best wishes, Michael.

  2. Morning Michael.
Thank you very much my friend. We have been blessed with good enough weather every Wednesday for the past three Months to go plein air. We love it. That cup of tea has happened to me once before, and that was about forty years ago when I was a motor mechanic working for the old post office. I was out on a breakdown when one of my wheels came off, (don`t laugh) and this lady came out with a mug of tea but no Biscuits. Thanks again Michael and all the best.

  12. Hi Joan.
Thank you for your lovely comment. It was nice of that lady wasn`t it? When I took the tray back, I couldn`t get any answer after ringing the bell. So I left it in the porch. It`s a shame really because I wanted to thank her for her kindness. It was a great couple of hours painting, also with people coming up to have a look. Our club Chairman turned up with his Wife. They were taking their dog for walkies. Great day in all. All the best my friend.
