A Blogger friend of mine suggested that I paint an Oast House. Well I did this one from my photograph of my original painting that I largely did Plein air. I hope he likes it.
Lovely acrylic piece ... and yes, I'm delighted, Vic! Thank you very much my friend for painting this again. A lovely rural scene. All the best, Michael.
Hi Michael. glad you like it my friend. It`s strange really, although I have altered it slightly to the original painting, I think the original was a better job. Am I going backwards or what? I didn`t want to paint it exactly like the original because it wouldn`t be fair on the owner would it? All the best Michael. Vic.
This is really nice Victor. You really did a great job on that reflection in the pond, a painting by itself. Thanks for your kind words on my blog. It's always a pleasure when you stop by.
Looks like a place that would be great to visit...I imagine the "owner" would be honored to know that someone found interest enough to paint it! Great job!
Hi Linda. Thank you for your lovely comment. Especially the, It`s always a pleasure, that`s a great boost for me in itself, thank you. As I said to Michael above, I must be going backwards with my Art. The original I think was a better effort. Your four seasons are brilliant Linda. All the best to you. Vic.
How nice of you to repaint this for a blogger friend. I was sure he would like it, ( and I see he does ), it is very beautiful, the colors are so pure and the reflection is just great! Have a nice sunday Vic
Hi Joan. Thank you for your nice comment my friend. Yes, you are right, It was Michael. I see you are getting out a lot lately. isn`t it great to be able to do that eh? I`m waiting for your next posting. All the best Joan. Vic.
Hi Jane. Thank you for your lovely comment my friend. I`m over to look at your blog now. Thanks again Jane, and you have a lovely Sunday also. All the best. Vic.
A lovely painting Vic. Especially like the coral colored strips showing along the edge of the road and pond. Brings the piece together by being in the same school of color with the barn roof.Well done!
