Outward bound 3 is an old painting that I did about six years ago. I have painted this subject several times. It is a thames Barge that plys it`s trade all along the Thames estuary, and far flung places. But no more i`m afraid,
It's a wonderful painting, forcefully expressive, elegant color choice, so the result is ... perfect! I will follow you to know your new work. Greetings from Spain.
Hi Venten. Thank you very much for your lovely comment. I have just been to your blog and think that you are a brilliant Artist. You paint just how I like them. I have been trying to follow you and I have tried several times but it seems that I am doing something wrong, I don`t know what it is because it is in your language. I have tried also to tranmslate it to english, but it doesn`t work for me. Also i would like to receive your latest paintings via email but again there isn` anything that I can click on for this. Thank you again Venten and all the best. Vic.
Thank you very much for your lovely comment Linda. It`s painted with my favourite medium, Oils. But lately I have been using Acrylics because the Oils take too long to dry. All the best Linda, the portrait Artist. vic.
Hi Nancy. Thank you for your great comment. I enjoyed painting it. I noticed this morning that you are still producing your beautiful paintings. I must get around a bit more to visit my favourite bloggs, namely yours for one. All the best Nancy. Vic.
Hi Caroline. Thank you for your lovely comment. Your paintings are so atmospheric and beautiful. They remind me of another Artist who paints Atmospheric scenes as you do. I can`t remember his name at the moment but he runs an Art school in Norfolk. You are a wonderful Artist Caroline. All the best. Vic.
Oh, this is so good Vic. I really like the low viewpoint which places the sails high on the canvas, emphasising the majesty of these fine vessels. The second barge nicely frames the distant towers and helps pull the eye into the scene. Excellent work!!!
Great painting Vic, wonderful composition, love the colors you used, absolutely BRILLIANT my friend. Now let me see if I get that crazy word verification.
Hi Joan. thank you my friend for your usual lovely comment. Did you manage to get the word verification first time? You don`t mind two words if you can understand what they are do you? I haven`t managed to do any painting for a week. Also I couldn`t go to my club either yesterday. I like your experimenting with different mediums and papers Joan. Fullmarks there my friend. All the best Joan. Vic.
