  1. Wonderful color in this painting. I love the colors of the sea. Nicely composed with a real sense of movement. I paint on this size often...don't you love the square format?

  9. I love this one, Vic! I love old Thames barges full stop :) I bet you are familiar with Ray Campbell Smith's watercolours of the old barges and those fantastic red sails - he's a Kent lad too of course. Best wishes mate, Michael.

I`m glad that you like it my friend. Thanks for your nice comment. Yes Ray Campbell Smith is a great Artist
in Watercolour, and he is mainly noted for his Kent Oast Houses paintings. I have a few of his Videos, and I will one day get them transferred to DVD`s. Thanks again Michael and all the best mate.

  19. Hi Joan my friend.
I`m glad you like it Joan. I enjoy painting these Barges. It`s so sad that they are not around trading anymore. there are a few left that belong to private individials. I won`t be able to use my computer for a couple of days. I have bought myself a new one. And at the moment we are downloading everything onto a memory stick. We are doing this via phone, and it is a nightmare. All the best Joan.
