Bridge and Stream. 16x12, Acrylics

This was painted from a photo that I found on a site that I think is called Photos for artist`s. And again I think the subject is in France.

  1. This is beautiful Victor. I like the way you ran sienna through the grass and the motion of the "white" water among the rocks. I never looked at that site--I think I will. The landscapes around here aren't that interesting.

  3. Hi Linda.
Thank you for your lovely comment. I have just started to use Stretched Canvas, and it`s brilliant. I have just started another 16x12 of Willy Lotts Cottage. Can`t wait to get cracking on it. Linda, I haven`t received any new postings from you, have you posted anything? All the best Linda.

  7. Hi Vic,
This painting of the bridge looks great! I like how you designed it with a nice lead into the painting using the river, my eye then travels right to the bridge. Nice handling of the paint too.

I'm glad to see you out painting in your last post!

  9. Victor, I'm drawn to the beautiful lighting in the canopies of the trees on the right by the stream running diagonally across the canvas from the bottom left. Well done!

What a lovely setting. Beautiful shades of green (as usual) and the movement among the rocks and the bridge is well done.
