A Kent Landscape. Did this one yesterday afternoon. A sudden impulse, so it was a quick study to get my fingers Hands and Eyes going again. 9x12 Oils on Board.

  1. A lovely spontaneous painting Vic, it somehow is full of movement. Like your brush strokes and the warmth in this painting. Looks to me like fingers, hands and eyes have got going very well in 2013 :)

  2. Hi Ann.

Thank you very much for your nice comment. Yes Ann, I`m glad that i managed to do some painting at last. I also managed to do a sketch of Ken Howard the English Arist. He is a brilliant painter and he is an RA member. All the best Ann.

  3. Hi Vic,

If you lived here in the states, it would have been you, Sue, and myself bringing in the New Year with our paint brushes. Mike and Rosemary could have been in the kitchen cooking up a storm. Hope you had a wonderful holiday. I love the painting, once again you have inspired me to paint in oils tomorrow.

    Thank you my friend,
    All the best to you
    Joan

  6. Hi Joan.
First of all, yes, it would have been brilliant for me if I could have been with you and Sue bringing in the new year with a painting each. One can still dream about these nice things eh? Joan? Also I`m glad that my painting has encouraged you to have a go at Oils again. Now I use a couple of tubes of Griffin Alkyd, especially the White. It quickens the drying of the oils, and it could be dry withing a couple of days. All the best my friend and a brilliant new year for you, Mike, and family.
