I have painted this Farm several times, and each time I enjoy painting it just as much as i painted it the first time. I`ll have a go at an Oast House next.

  1. Good morning my friend, I have missed so many of your splendid post. Vic, I love them all. Each one tells a story of the lovely places in England. You"re fine artist and England is very fortunate to have you painting the country scenes. Bravo!

  3. What a lovely, well composed picture!! I'm not an art expert but there is a certain feeling I get since following and viewing your blog Vic. You always get great colours but there is something else. I remarked recently on how you catch that certain "English" element in your paintings. It's not just your palette, you seem to get a certain structure, something regional, cultural. I can't really describe it but it's less specific and more intimate than mere geography. A bit like what Cezanne achieved in Provence. Just my humble, personal opinion. Super picture, well done mate!!

  4. Hi Kev.
This is the second fantastic comment on this painting mate. Rosemary my Wife went out to the Hatters the other day to get me an extra large Cap because my head has swollen. Joan above is the other comment. Thank you very much my friend for this wonderful comment. I don`t deserve it, but please keep them coming. All the best Kev.

  6. Hi Hilda
Thank you my friend for your usual lovely comment. At the time, there were no Farmers milling around the area, otherwise I would have liked to have added a couple of figures. I didn`t want to imagine them, I`m not very good at that. All the best Hilda.
