I painted this subject this afternoon with the three primaries + White, and a touch of Sap green. I decided to experiment with these colours. I didn`t know what i was going to paint but started off with the suggestion of a tree and this is how it ended up. Half of it was done with a palette knife. I am going to use the three primaries again to produce some lovely greys.

  1. Good morning my friend. I really like what you have achieved using the primary colors. I enjoy that also. Also like the use of the palette knife. Well done Vic.

    All the best to you,
    Joan

  3. Ho Joan.
I`m glad that you like the effort my friend. I intend to experiment with the three Primaries more. I have been told that you really don`t need any other colours except white. Mind you that remains to be seen. All the best Joan.

  5. Hi Hilda.
I`m glad that yoiu like it my friend. It is just a try out. I`m going to use this palette again to see what mixes I can produce. I am always searching for the right colours that make a lovely colourful painting. One can`t coppy nature, or rather I can`t anyway. So I produce some strange colours, but not the ones I have seen and love. All the best Hilda.
