Backpacking. 9x12, Oils on board.

I know all about this backpacking business.

I use`to do it myself. Snowdon was my favourite

area. But also the Black Mountains and other

places as well. I loved it. Any Backpackers out

there?

  1. Victor, thank you for your kind comments. My palette is limited and consists of Cad Yellow Light, Cad Yellow Medium, Cad Red Light, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Phthalo Blue, and Raw or sometimes Burnt Umber. I create a dark neutral with Alizarin, Ultramarine and Umber. I prefer Gamblin Paints and usually tint my board with an acrylic red or yellow oxide.
Your paintings are lovely. I especially enjoy "White Cliffs of Dover."
