Sketching at Heybridge. 9x12, Oils on board.

Heybridge basin is a lovely spot not only for

Artist`s but also for anybody who likes to look

at the Sea and to relax. I went there with

our Art club and did some painting and sketching,

and took some photos. this one is from a photo.

We even had a cream tea, (I shouldn`t have done

that). The two Ladies are Club members, and
the chap sketching is my painting friend Harry.

  1. I really like the way you do your people, you capture the gesture and make them look very natural. Well done.

  2. Thank you Joan for getting intouch and commenting, and a good comment at that. I do
enjoy painting people, but it can be very hard
depicting them sometimes as you probably know.
Next Sunday week I will be going to a place
called Rye. That is a sea town as well. The last
time I went there I tripped and dislocated my
Shoulder. I shale really be extra careful this
time. All the best Joan, and thanks again.
