I`m altering my Studio around at the moment and I won`t be able to do any painting for a few days, so I am posting some Watercolour paintings that i did a few Years ago at Art classes.
These paintings are BRILLIANT! I knew your watercolors would be great. My friend you are truly an inspirations to me, you can do it ALL! It's wonderful not to get to comfortable in one medium, or subject. I hope to see more watercolors from you.
thank you very much Joan. It`s a long time since I have painted in Watercolours, so I will be struggling a bit until I got back into it my freind. But I will start soon ( I hope ). Thank you again Joan and all the best. Vic.
Hi Vic, Is nice to rearrange the studio once in a while. And is a pleasant surprise for us that can admire your watercolors. I really like them; they are very nice with your own personal touch and very expressive. A Hug Mariano
Hi Mariano. Thanks for your great comment my friend. Yes, I`m looking forward to completing my Studio. It will be more comfortable for me. Also I`m getting it ready to start a Traditional Oil painting course. I`m looking forward to that as well. All the best Mariano. Vic.
Wow, you shouldn't have hidden these away. They are beautiful! I especially like the painting with the little bridge and the man in the boat. As Joan said, you can do it all and you are an inspiration.!
Hi Keith. Thank you for your comment. I hope I can get back on form Keith. Don`t forget, I did these paintings at classes and you probably know what Tutors are like, they want to do the paintings themselves don`t they? I found that I had a heck of a job keeping their hands off my painting. But their influence is still there. I will get back to Watercolours soon, I hope. All the best Keith. Vic.
Hi Sue. Thank you Sue. You mustn`t forget that I did these at classes so they are influenced by the Tutor. If they wanted to show me a particular thing, then I get them to show me on another piece of paper. All the best Sue. Vic,
These watercolors are really stunning! The top one of the trees makes me feel that I am right there. I am very impressed with your ability to work in this medium, which is quite difficult. I echo what the others have said, 'You are an inspiration'.
Thank you very much for your nice comment Linda. I haven`t painted in Watercolour for a very long time now. I do hope to have another go soon though. All the best Linda. Vic.
What wonderful paintings! They are watercolors? I ask because the smoothness of brushwork and color seem like watercolor. Congratulations. They are beautiful:). A hug to his new fan:)
Oups... i made a question about the technique but now i read with more attention your aswer to Mrs. Linda Hunt, so...i have the reply :). By the images we don´t have the perfect notion about technique. SOmetimes, when we paint with oil more diluted with turpentine we get a watercolor effect:).A hug from Portugal
Hi Ines. Thank you for your comment. Yes they are Watercolours. I did these a few years ago now. I Paint in oils only at the moment. I do prefer Oils over Watercolours, although I do appreciate a good watercolour painting. Thank you Ines, and all the best. Vic.
