I wonder if it`s going to Rain? 9x12, oils on board.
This painting was done from a photograph of mine. I have altered it drastically to what the photo shows to suit what I thought was a better composition. For instance, There isn`t a figure in the photo and the sky isn`t as stormy as I have depicted. Also, several other little changes.

This is another fabulous painting that I feel I just want to walk into Vic. The figure really adds nicely to the composition. Best wishes, Michael.
ReplyDeleteI would run to the next door and take shelter. Great idea for the painting. Very nice

This is a beautiful painting...I love the toned canvas peeking throughout your landscape. The light is very nice and there is great harmony in your color scheme. That sky is amazing with those luscious brushstrokes! Very well done.

Hi Vic,
ReplyDeleteAnother beauty from you my friend. I love the way you made your changes, never would have guessed this wasn't the original scene. Great perspective and love the figure. You are an amazing artist. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Joan.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your usual great comment my friend.
I enjoyed painting this one. It`s wonderful to be able to alter things to one`s liking eh? I have just got back from a place called west Kingsdown.
We had a lovely couple of hours painting a Windmill. We were a bit concerned with a load of Cows that were in the same field as us, but thank god they were taken in before they got too close.
All the best Joan.
