Hi Linda. thank you very much for your nice comment. It`s always great to hear from you Linda. I think Jerry below could be right, I would have liked it to be more Impressionistic though. Thank you for your condolences for poor fluffy. All the best Linda. Vic.
Hi Hilda. I`m glad you like it. Thank you for your nice comment. I like cropping the subject also Hilda, sort of zoom in to it. all the best Hilda. Vic
Hello my friend. This is such a difficult subject and composition and you did this as a quickie. You are an amazing artist and David Curtis would love this painting. Well done and I look forward to your next post.
Hi Joan. thank you my friend for your usual lovely comment. David Curtis eh? if only Joan. It was a quickie, and I enjoyed painting it. There is a comment above by Jerry, and i am inclined to go along with him on this one. I felt that there is too much detail for the way I like to paint. I would have liked it to be more blurred and impressionistic. That is how I started it off to be like. But I`m not there yet. Thank you my friend and all the best. Love your last few postings. Vic.
Hi Julie. Thank you for your nice comment. I don`t know what you would call a quickie, but this one took me about 45min` I didn` rush it knowingly. Thank you again Julie and all the best. Vic.
I LOVE this cropped look, Vic. I find all boats that stand alone such interesting subjects. You did an amazing job with this.
ReplyDeleteA very nice quicky too Victor. You have an affinity towards boats and do them very well.
ReplyDeleteI like Fluffy too. I have no doubt your son and his wife were thrilled. I'm sorry for their loss.
Beautiful, but too realistic. Needs to be softer.
ReplyDeleteHi Jerry.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. You could be right Jerry.
All the best.
