Cottage 1. 9x12, Oils on board.


I did this painting almost plein Air but not

completely, It started to rain. Well somebody

said that he thought the Cottage was sloping,

well it was, so was the subject so I left it as

it appeared to me.

    I like sloping buildings Vic and anyway, perspective often makes buildings "feel" sloping. You have echoed that movement in the foreground grass. I think this is a lovely painting.

    Hi Vic, I agree with Sheila, the composition works and it is a lovely painting.

    By the way, I stopped by Sheila's blog, you are so right about her talent, she's amazing. I will go back, there is so much to see.

    Thank you again Joan. I`m glad you liked what you saw in Sheila`s Blog. She is a fine artist
    no doubt eh?. I did suggest to her that there is a bit of Lowry in her work, what do you think?
