Cottage at Ockley. 9x12, Oils on board.


A friend and I went to an Exhibition of another

friend. On the way back we stopped at a little

Village Green and found several subjects to

sketch,. This painting is from one of the

sketches. We also bought some sandwiches

and a coffee,sat in the car and munched away.

    Sounds like it was a fun day. What I like about this painting is the color of the house and roof against the various shades of green. Which by the way, I love the different mixtures of green.

    Thanks again Joan. Yes, we did have a very nice day visiting a friends exhibition and stopping off at this lovely Village green. Sketching and
