Switching off. 12x17, Oils on board.
Another one from Heybridge basin. Painted last year. This is another brilliant venue to paint at. Mind you there usually are a lot of people about so you will get disturbed. I have noticed that the public that are interested in looking to see what you are painting, don`t normally stay too long.

Vic, this is another brilliant painting of Hebridge basin. You are an exceptional artist my friend. I hope you are able to paint these days before the holidays. I find when pressed for time, I do the Kevin MacPherson challenge. I hr. 6x8 oil sketch. It keeps me from becoming cranky. I'm not fit to live with when I don't paint. You take care.

Hi Vic,
ReplyDeletevery nice prospective on this one . It is a good thing people don't talk too long when they stop by, otherwise you would be talking instead of painting. Heybridge is a very inspirational place for you, and is nice, great painting!
Thank you Mariano. yes I love going to Heybridge Basin. It`s full of subjects. I love your latest posting my friend. I have left a comment on your blog. All the best Mariano.
ReplyDeleteVic.
P.S. Isn`t that a brilliant Alsation painting that Joan did?
Hi Joan.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like this one. No I haven`t managed to complete a painting now for at least four days. I did paint a Cat, a tabby, just before that, but not sure enough whether it is good enough to post. That Alsation painting of yours is brilliant my friend. Unbelievably brilliant. I have left a comment on you blog. All the best Joan.
Vic.
Hi Vic, check out Alex Perez weekly selections. Congratulations my friend, your painting of the cow is included. All the best.

ReplyDeleteVic.
This is really lovely, Vic. So well painted. I have a yearning to do more marina paintings. Don't live near big bodies of water though.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nancy. I live near the Thames Estuary.
ReplyDeleteThe only problem is that there isn`t anywhere that you can park unless you are prepared to pay
heavily for it. This painting was done when our
club went there on one of our three trips out each year. Thank you Nancy and all the best.
