Thames Barge 3.12x17, Oils on board.

I did this painting some time ago. It`s of a

Thames Barge beached on the sand for

some reason or another. This was done

mainly from imagination and what I

had seen in the past.

  2. Hi Mariano my friend. Glad your back and probably wanting a rest from painting eh?
Thanks for your lovely comment on this painting.
I`m dying to see some of your vacational ones.
I`ve missed our chats and critics of one anothers works. I hope you and Maeve had a good
time, and that she is well. Thanks again Mariano.
    Vic.

  3. Hi Vic,

Well done, I really like the composition and the cloud formation as well as your tonal values. Beautiful play of warm and cool colors.
Happy to see you are getting some of the artist that I admire to follow your blog.
I'm off to see my grandchildren arrive home from their first day of school.
You have a great and happy day painting.

    Your friend

  4. Hi Joan.
Thanks very much for your comment. Glad you like this one. I visited another Area with lots of boats, but what you see is hundreds of static
ones all over the beach, with lots of flotsam
and big boxes and tackle that almost hides them.
Not a very good productive day I`m afraid. But I
went out this morning locally and did one study
of a water fountain and a small landscape. I was
very pleased with that effort. Thanks again Joan, and all the best. Your friend Vic.
